São Paulo, September 28, 2026 – Livelo, Brazil’s largest and most complete engagement ecosystem, and Nubank, Latin America’s largest digital bank, announce a strategic partnership that expands the ways bank customers can use their accumulated points. Starting September 28, Nubank Ultravioleta and Nubank Croma customers will be able to transfer their points to Livelo, connecting their everyday spending with redemption options for travel, products, experiences, and other possibilities.
The integration will offer a one-to-one conversion rate: 1 Croma or Ultravioleta customer point equals 1 Livelo point, with no minimum transfer requirement. As part of the launch offer, Ultravioleta customers who transfer more than 1,000 points will receive a 10% bonus, limited to 50,000 bonus points per CPF. The offer celebrating the launch will be available through October 12, and bonus points will be credited within 30 days after the promotion ends.
With Nubank Ultravioleta, customers earn from 2.2 points per dollar spent. With Nubank Croma, customers earn 1.4 points per dollar spent. Transfers to Livelo can be made directly through the Nu app, in the card benefits section. Customers select the option to exchange for miles or points, choose Livelo from the available programs, enter the number of points, and confirm the transaction.
With this new offering, points accumulated through Nubank Ultravioleta and Croma will gain access to Livelo’s network of possibilities, which includes more than 600 partners. The new partnership brings together two companies with complementary value propositions. On one side is Nubank, whose mission is to simplify the financial experience; on the other is Livelo, which increases the value generated by spending by turning points into different reward possibilities. The integration aims to make earning and using points more accessible, seamless, and connected to consumers’ everyday habits.
“Partnering with Nubank represents an important step in expanding the Livelo ecosystem and generating value for both companies’ customers. By connecting Nubank’s simplicity and scale with Livelo’s freedom of choice, we are expanding the possibilities for consumers to turn their spending into benefits that make sense for their lives. It is a combination with the potential to drive recurring engagement and long-term value,” says Marcelino Cruz, Livelo’s Executive Director of Business and Growth.
“At Nubank, we are always looking to understand what matters to our customers and turn that insight into products, benefits, and experiences that make sense in real life. That is why we are excited about the partnership with Livelo, which expands the options available to people who use Ultravioleta and Croma cards, connecting everyday spending with different ways to enjoy their points. It is another way to deliver value to our customers in a simple, convenient, and increasingly relevant manner,” says Túlio Oliveira, Vice President of Nubank Ultravioleta and Nubank Croma.
More possibilities for Nubank Ultravioleta and Croma customers
The partnership covers Nubank Ultravioleta and Croma card customers, which have distinct value propositions within Nubank’s portfolio. Nubank Ultravioleta is designed for high-income customers and focuses on premium experiences, while Nubank Croma is aimed at customers who have grown alongside Nubank and are looking for benefits that are more closely aligned with their lifestyles.
Loyalty programs: increasingly relevant
The new offering arrives at a time when loyalty programs are playing a growing role in Brazilians’ financial and consumption decisions. The study The Behavioral Economics of Points, conducted by Livelo and LAB Humanidades, AlmapBBDO’s research center, found that 87% of loyalty program users consider earning points an effective way to save on the household budget, while 82% say they have shifted payments made by debit card, Pix, or cash to credit cards in order to maximize their benefits.
The data reinforces a transformation in the role of loyalty programs: points are no longer perceived merely as an additional benefit and are becoming part of decisions related to consumption, planning, and perceptions of value.
This is reflected, for example, in Nubank Ultravioleta’s high-income offering, which stands out for its international travel experience: the Ultravioleta Global Account allows customers to manage more than 40 currencies with zero spread on conversions and zero IOF on all international credit card transactions. Customers who use Nu Viagens also receive special conditions for earning points and cashback when purchasing flights and hotels. In the case of Nubank Croma, in addition to offering a points transfer program, the product also provides cashback on streaming subscriptions—another proposition that conveys value and delivers a tangible benefit to customers.
More than a new transfer option, the integration between Nubank and Livelo in this ecosystem creates a connection between spending, earning, and rewards, expanding the points of contact between the brands and creating new relationship opportunities with consumers. For Livelo, the agreement reinforces its strategy of expanding through major partners and consolidating its ecosystem as a platform capable of connecting different moments in the consumer journey.
