São Paulo, November 3, 2026 — As Nubank House opens its doors, the largest immersive experience tied to an F1 team ever held in Brazil, Nubank unveils a new chapter in its partnership with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team: the purple race suit that both of the team’s drivers, George Russell and champion Kimi Antonelli, will wear at the São Paulo Grand Prix.

The suits will be shown at an exclusive preview for invited guests on the opening night of Nubank House at Nubank Parque.
The campaign introducing the suit features a film starring the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s two drivers, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli. Actor Gabriel Leone narrates, while the iconic “Tema da Vitória” carries the soundtrack and evokes the Brazilian spirit of celebration in motorsport. Drawing on race suits from the 1980s and 1990s, the design blends retro style with technology, bringing together the memory of a Brazil that won on the track and the new era of motorsport.
The film draws on Brazil’s relationship with victory and Formula 1 to build a bridge between generations: the memory of the golden era, Nubank’s contemporary identity, and the future of the sport. The story is summed up in the tagline “Inspired by the Golden Era, Built for the New Era.” The concept links Brazil’s winning tradition in Formula 1 to the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s current moment, shaped by the sport’s technological evolution.
The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team designed the suits. The Brazilian race suit brings the two brands closer together and tells a Nubank story rooted in Brazil. Its base is a darker shade, the same one used in the Nubank Ultravioleta brand, with details in a more vibrant purple that represents the bank’s entire customer base. The combination reflects the different expressions of the Nubank brand across its segments and makes the color a standout element of the partnership.

“The São Paulo Grand Prix is special for Brazilians, for Nubank, because it takes place in the city where we were founded, and for the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team drivers. It’s where Kimi broke the record for most points scored by a rookie in a season, and where George took his first Formula 1 win. The new race suits capture the meeting of the history Brazil built on the track and the energy of a new generation. By bringing Nubank’s purple to such a recognizable symbol of Formula 1, we’re bringing together two brands that share a vision of innovation and performance. This is our way of celebrating Brazilians’ passion for the sport,” says Cristina Junqueira, Nubank co-founder and Ceo Nu Us.
“Our partnership with Nu is built around finding bold and meaningful ways to bring fans closer to our team. The purple race suits are a great expression of that ambition, bringing together Nu’s unmistakable identity with our own while celebrating the incredible passion Brazil has for Formula One. Following the response to our purple race suits in Miami earlier this year, it is exciting to take the concept even further in São Paulo and create something distinctive for one of the most passionate race weekends of the season.” - Victoria Johnson, Chief Marketing Operations Officer, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team.
São Paulo and Miami: drivers in purple
The purple race suits will appear in Formula 1 for the second time this year. The first was at the Miami Grand Prix in May. On that occasion, the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team presented three distinct designs, one for each race day, all in Nu purple. Each carried coordinates that told a chapter of Nu’s expansion: the Casinha, Nu’s original office in São Paulo, where the company was founded in 2013; Nu’s expansion across Latin America, with coordinates referencing its offices in Mexico and Colombia; and Nu Stadium in Miami, representing Nu’s arrival in the United States.
Nubank House in São Paulo
Announced on October 19, Nubank House is the space chosen to bring together the experience of the partnership between Nubank and the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team during the São Paulo Grand Prix. The space, exclusive to Nubank customers, will be open from November 4 to 8.
Nubank House arrives at a time of renewed interest in the sport among Brazilians. The first ten races of the current season, from February to July, reached 52.8 million people in the country, according to Ibope data, a figure that already exceeds the reach of the entire 2025 season. This new national boom is driven by the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s outstanding performance on the track. Amid growing enthusiasm for the sport, Nubank, the team’s global partner, meets fans’ desire to go beyond the grandstands and learn every detail of the team’s technology and routine.
