Mexico City, September 25 2026 — Nu Mexico announced the appointment of Martín Masola as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), succeeding Fernando Campos, who will pursue new professional opportunities. Masola will be responsible for leading the finance organization for Nubank's Mexican subsidiary, including capital and liquidity planning and management, financial reporting, corporate development, and tax.

The appointment is a planned step in the evolution of Nu’s business in Mexico, which is currently expanding after beginning operations as a multiple banking institution in August of this year. With Martín’s arrival, the company continues to responsibly strengthen its governance structure and operational capabilities, while consolidating a model that has already earned the trust of millions of Mexicans and continues to build a new way of delivering financial services in Mexico, centered on people.

Martín Masola brings more than 20 years of experience building and leading finance functions for financial services and high-growth companies. He joins Nubank from Revolut, where he served as CFO for Mexico, leading the creation of the local finance function and participating in the company’s application for a banking license. He also has regional experience as Senior Vice President of Finance for Latin America and CFO of Mexico at Kavak, as well as previous experience at green4T and Lazard. His experience spans treasury, capital, liquidity, accounting, tax, financial planning, and operational coordination for regulated businesses.

With this appointment, the company will remain focused on executing its strategy, meeting its regulatory responsibilities, and consolidating its presence in the Mexican market.

Nu Mexico is the country’s largest digital bank, with 16 million customers and a presence in 98% of municipalities. In the first quarter of 2026, Nu Mexico reached breakeven, following the trajectory of Nubank’s operations in Brazil, but at a faster pace. The company is committed to Mexico for the long term, with a total projected investment of USD 4.2 billion by 2030.
